How can I enable or disable individual applications of Nero Volume License Products?

Nero BurnRights is an application available within Nero Volume License Products, only.

Nero BurnRights easily allows domain administrators to manage the behavior of Nero applications related to burning and other functions.

In this FAQ we show you how to enable or disable individual  Nero Applications within Nero Volume License Products.

Let us take the example of disabling Nero Recode in a given system.

Launch Nero BurnRights, enable “Advanced” mode.

In the left panel, expand the item “Nero Applications” and select “Nero Recode 2018”.

In the right panel, change the option from “Everybody” to “Nobody”, and click “Apply” or “OK” to apply the changes.

Once done,  launching Nero Recode will be blocked.

In Nero Launcher, the button Nero Recode will be grayed out.

Which Nero Products are available as Volume License Products?

Nero offers variations of its Nero Suite product portfolio to companies, government- and educational institutions, and all other organizations.

These products come in different flavors and are not available for consumers. There are no volume license versions of the standalone products available.

Limitations for Volume License Products  

All volume license products are limited in those functionalities that do not match corporate environments, such as online/network related services (e.g. streaming, GracenoteÂź, Wi-Fi syncing, Geo-Tagging, places identification, accessing Movies & TV Shows, etc).

Additions

Nero Volume License products allow user rights management, such as restricting application usage or limitation of certain features with Nero BurnRights.

All Volume License products include Nero CoverDesigner by default.

All Volume License Products include Nero Launcher with a special Nero Volume License branding.

If I have active Nero Volume Licenses, can I upgrade the number of seats (even to the latest product version)? What do I need to do?

Yes, you can upgrade existing Nero Volume Licenses for a special price, and additional conditions for new seats can be discussed.

Please refer to the two examples below that relate to the different scenarios of your question.

Example 1

I have Nero Volume Licenses for one thousand seats, which I am using on one thousand PCs.

Now I have bought five hundred new PCs and want to extend the given Nero product licenses to one thousand five hundred seats.

Please contact your Nero sales representative and he will offer you a special price for your individual scenario.

Example 2

I have Nero Volume Licenses for one thousand seats, which I am using on one thousand PCs.

Now, I have bought five hundred new PCs and want to extend the given Nero product licenses to one thousand five hundred seats with the latest Nero product version.
