As a domain administrator, how can I backup or deploy the Nero BurnRights configuration to all PCs?

In this FAQ we show you how a domain administrator can backup or deploy the Nero BurnRights configuration to all PCs.

Nero BurnRights can export configurations via registry file format.

Launch Nero BurnRights, after the configuration is done and click the “Export” button.

The configuration will be exported as two registry files: one for Windows 32 bit operating systems, the other one Windows 64 bit operating systems. Domain administrators can deploy the settings by running the registry file in each PC or push the settings via domain policy.

How can I set SecurDisc as the only burning option with one click in Nero Burning Rom and Nero Express (Nero 2018 Volume License Products and later)?

In this FAQ we show you how to set SecurDisc as the only burning option in Nero Burning Rom and Nero Express with one click (Nero 2018 Volume License Products and later)

Launch Nero BurnRights and enable “Advanced” mode.

In the left panel expand the item “Nero Applications”and select the item “Nero Burning Rom 2018” or “Nero Express 2018”.

In the right panel click the button “Burn SecurDisc only”. Clicking the button will allow to only burn with “SecurDisc” for any compilation.

At the same time, “Enforce encryption” for “SecurDisc” is set automatically.

Click “Apply” or “OK” to apply the changes.

Afterwards, when opening Nero Burning Rom 2018 or Nero Express 2018 you can only burn “SecurDisc” compilations.

In this FAQ we show you how to enforce encryption for burning with SecurDisc in Nero Burning Rom or Nero Express in Nero Volume License Products (Nero 2018 and later).

Launch Nero BurnRights and enable “Advanced” mode.

In the left panel expand the item “Nero Applications”, find and expand the item “Nero Burning Rom 2018” or “Nero Express 2018”, and expand the item “Compilations” again.

Under this item click the type “SecurDisc”. In Nero BurnRights 2018 (and later) you can find an additional checkbox in the right panel “Enforce encryption”. Select it and click “Apply” or “OK” to apply the changes.

Afterwards burning with SecurDisc in Nero Burning Rom 2018 (and later) or Nero Express 2018 (and later) will always need a password in order to encrypt the disc.

In this FAQ we show you how to enable or disable individual  Nero Applications within Nero Volume License Products.

Let us take the example of disabling Nero Recode in a given system.

Launch Nero BurnRights, enable “Advanced” mode.

In the left panel, expand the item “Nero Applications” and select “Nero Recode 2018”.

In the right panel, change the option from “Everybody” to “Nobody”, and click “Apply” or “OK” to apply the changes.

Once done,  launching Nero Recode will be blocked.
