Nero Video authoring module has three access points that help you checking the playback order of your titles.
1. The content screen allows you to import and sort the order of video titles on your disc. Via drag & drop or context menu, you can modify the playback order.
2. Within the menu selection screen via “Customize” and “Advanced Editing”, please check the order and linkage in “Poperties: Button” and the dropdown menu under “Link to”.
3. Finally, the preview window allows you to verify navigation and playback of titles in your disc menu, just like they will be played back on the DVD Player in your living room. If you find any mismatches here, please go back for modifications under #1 or #2.
Click on âImport filesâ to select clips via ‘Windows Explorer’. ‘Nero Video’ ‘Disc Content Window’Â will list your clips under the name given in the original file.
As these names will be used in your disc menu letâs simply polish the names by re-naming them. Right click on an asset to re-name and type a new name into the window. You can also do that in the disc authoring customization later on.
Click next and you will see that the default menu already has taken over the name. Now select a new menu template. You have the option between three different styles: ‘Standard 2D’, ‘Animated 2D’, and ‘Smart 3D’. Select âGift Boxâ from the Smart 3D templates.
You can see that the asset start buttons show figures that you want to get rid of. Click on the âCustomizeâ tab and select a title. In order to get rid of the figures within the title modify the âAppearanceâ within the âButton Propertiesâ. Just click on âtext onlyâ in the drop down box for âtext numberingâ. Do this for all your assets. As you also want further menu pages to be free of numbering click on the âdisc projectâ arrow below and de-select âRestart numbering on each menu pageâ.
Now you want to adapt the âGift Boxâ template to a special occasion. Click on the drop down box under âthemeâ within the template settings tab.
Apart from the default template âwhiteâ you can select âKidsâ, âValentineâ, or âChristmasâ. Letâs use the âKidsâ template here, and finally letâs exchange the menu name to âKidâs Vacationâ.
Now click on ânextâ to see your animated menu template.
Via the menu navigation functions you can check your project before burning to disc.
