What should I do if the app tells me that Nero DVD Player is not available?

If you experience this problem, it is basically caused by two main reasons:

  1. Nero DVD Player is not allowed for your product.
  2. Nero DVD Player is not able to get its status correctly.

Frequently ask questions for Nero DVD Player subscription and billing

In general, your subscriptions are managed by Microsoft. You can check the official document from Microsoft: Manage a Microsoft subscription.

We listed some frequently asked questions below:

Q1: I would like to trial the subscription features before I pay. How to do it? Will I be billed?
You will not be billed in your free trial phase.
The free version comes with a watermark that appears when you play the main video. You can remove the watermark during the free 7-day trial for a full viewing experience and access to all features.

Q2: How do I cancel my subscription?
If you subscribed via your Microsoft account, you must cancel your subscription through your Microsoft account.
In order to cancel your subscription, please follow the following steps:

  1. Go to Services & subscriptions and sign in with the Microsoft account you used to purchase your subscription. It’s important to use that account.

  2. Find your subscription and select Manage. If you don’t see Manage, but see Turn on recurring billing instead, this means your subscription will expire on the date shown and you don’t need to do anything else.

  3. On the next page, select Cancel (or it might say Upgrade or Cancel, depending on your subscription type).

  4. Scroll through and follow the instructions on the page to proceed with cancellation.

To view the complete cancellation policy, see Microsoft Store Terms of Sale.

Q3: Does deleting the application cancel my subscription?
No, uninstalling an app will not automatically stop your subscription. You must cancel your subscription to end it. If you uninstall the app without canceling your subscription, you will still be charged. If an app you’ve purchased a subscription for is removed (discontinued completely) from Microsoft Store, your future subscription will be automatically canceled but past subscriptions will not be refunded.

How can I fix the audio track problem in Nero MKV Converter?

When adding some MKV video files to Nero MKV Converter, you may see an error message about ‘Audio track not supported by your system’ as the screenshot below.
Audio not support

Generally, if you play such video files in the system players (Windows Media Player, Movies & TV), they are also no sound. This means that your system lacks some audio decoders. Most of cases, these video files include some object-oriented audio formats.

Don’t worry, let’s dig out the problem and fix it step by step:

    • We need to find out what audio is included in your video file.
      1. Please open this video file in some ‘media info’ application to check the detail information. If you don’t know what app you should use, I recommend to use ‘MediaInfo’. You can download and install ‘MediaInfo’ from here.
      2. Please check audio codec information of this video file. You can switch to Tree or HTML video mode, if you would like to see detail information clearly.

    • Let’s find if there is any extension available in Microsoft Store.
      1. Search this audio codec in Microsoft Store to find if there is any extension available.
      2. Install the package if you found the extension.
      3. Play the video files in system players.
      4. If the video files get sound in system players now, then it means the audio issue is fixed.

Now there will be no problem to convert such video files in Nero MKV Converter.
