All mentioned applications now use the latest Intel SDK for hardware accelerated AVC encoding with Intel graphics cards

Fixes in Nero Video

Fixed an issue with the image snapshot function where under certain conditions it would just capture the same frame though the timeline cursor was moved to a different frame
Fixed a number of issues where high frame-rate HEVC 4K videos in some cases would not play or export with correct AV sync
Fixed an issue where Nero Video would crash under conditions of frequently switching between timeline editing, home screen, and content screen
Fixed issues that some special video clips in the timeline would only play audio
Fixed an issue with zooming into the timeline where identical audio clips on different tracks would not show identical frame references
Fixed the issue in Nero Video export screen where the Nero logo looked distorted
Fixed the issue that Nero Content Screen would not show a warning when trying to import pictures to the authoring module (this is not allowed by design)
Fixed an issue where some JPG images with ‘DSC’ prefix could not be imported to a slideshow project

Please perform the update via Nero ControlCenter > Updates > Check for updates > Update now.

I have installed Nero Suite but cannot launch Nero WaveEditor and Nero SoundTrax via Nero Start Screen. What can I do?

Nero WaveEditor and Nero SoundTrax are free to use programs for anybody. They are no integrative part of any Nero product on purchase.

But, if these free products are installed on the same system as your Nero Suite they integrate into Nero Start Screen under ‘Nero Tools’.

Both product are now availbale for download with a new version number under below links.

I lost my serial number. What can I do?

If you purchase our product via nero.com, you can look up:

your order history
reference number
order confirmation
invoice
etc.

Go to onlineshop.nero.com and click on “Access or Redeliver Order Information”.

If you are logged in, the next page will show your recent purchases on the next page.

Click on the “Details” link to check your order details, including the purchase serial number.

If the page does not show your recent purchases, enter your Email address that you used for your purchase. Your purchase history and detailed information will be sent to you by Email.

I purchased Nero Platinum online but don’t seem to have the Premium version of Music Recorder available. What can I do?

Once ‘Music Recorder’ was installed with your Nero Platinum product and you open ‘Music Recorder’ you will see ‘Enter activation code’ at the bottom of the user interface. Type in your activation key here and ‘Music Recorder’ will automatically become ‘Music Recorder Premium’ with all Premium features enabled.

If you have an earlier version of Nero Platinum that already included ‘Music Recorder’ installed on the same PC, and your ‘Music Recorder Premium’ account is already activated, you do not need to do this again for a later version.

In some cases it may happen that ‘Music Recorder’ will still show ‘Music Recorder Premium’ advertising. In this case please proceed with the following steps.

Click the ‘Upgrade’ button within ‘Music Recorder’ user interface. An upgrade page will open
On this page click the link ‘I purchased Nero Platinum and have a Music Recorder activation code’. The ‘Unlock Music Recorder now’ page will open
Enter your e-mail address and password to register the activation code
Now, enter your activation code into the ‘Activation Code’ box
Then, click the ‘Unlock Music Recorder’ button to connect ‘Music Recorder Premium’ to your e-mail address.

Once you unlocked ‘Music Recorder’ will automatically become ‘Music Recorder Premium’ with all Premium features enabled.

In case the auto-login does not work, simply sign in manually, using the same e-mail address and password you provided to register your activation code.
